The comedy also opened in 13 new international markets and earned $6.3 million in 46 total markets.
War Dogs also generated $5.3 million over the weekend from 41 overseas markets, bringing the international total to $14.9 million.
Also of note is 20th Century Fox’s Ice Age: Collision Course, which took second place at the international box office this weekend with $50 million from 37 markets, with $42.5 million of that total coming from China.
Climbing a spot to third place was LAIKA’s Kubo and the Two Strings (Focus Features), which earned $7.9 million its second weekend for a total of $24.9 million.
