Product placement is a classic (well, super 1980s) way to get funding for your film.
Sometimes product placement works, and you barely noticed the brand names strategically placed in a movie frame.
This might not have been intentional, but it still worked, and it’s certainly forgivable given how acclaimed the film is.
Product placement was even more prominent in the second film.
