Netflix has released the first trailer for 1922, their upcoming feature-length adaptation of the Stephen King novella, featuring Thomas Jane returning to the world of King after starring in 2007’s The Mist and 2003’s Dreamcatcher.
Another Stephen King adaptation, Gerald’s Game, will debut on September 29 on the streaming service.
The tale is told from from the perspective of Wilfred James, the story’s unreliable narrator who admits to killing his wife, Arlette, with his son in Nebraska.
1922 is based on Stephen King’s 131-page story telling of a man’s confession of his wife’s murder.
