Riverdale — or, as it’s more commonly known on the internet, Hot Archie Who F—ks — was the surprise hit of the 2016 fall season.
Riverdale proved so popular that Netflix scooped it up and made Season 1 available in record time.
As it turns out, reimagining Archie comics as a contemporary pop culture-saturated teen drama with a few references (hello, Twin Peaks and V.C. Andrews) for the show’s real target audience (hello, 20 and 30-somethings) is a very profitable idea.
Season 2 premieres this week (with a spinoff for Sabrina the Teenage Witch supposedly on the way), and if you haven’t caught up with everyone’s new favorite Show for Teens yet, or if your memory is a little hazy, we’ve created this quick recap of where Riverdale left things with Hot Archie and the gang. Riverdale Season 2 premieres this Wednesday, October 11 on The CW.
