American actor Kirk Douglas was honoured last night at the Golden Globes, the 101-year-old appearing on stage alongside daughter-in-law Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Douglas, who was sat in a wheelchair, was given a standing ovation by the star-studded audience following a short video tribute to the iconic actor.
Meanwhile, the Golden Globes were cause for much celebration, many worthy nominees taking home prizes including Oprah, who gave an incredible speech.
“I worked on a speech but I don’t want to say it because I could never follow you.”
