In its report about Warner Bros naming Chantal Nong as the vice-president of production for the DC Films group, THR mentioned that Flashpoint and Batgirl will be part of the next wave of DCEU movies following Wonder Woman 2, among others.
While there’s no guarantee yet that either Flashpoint and Batgirl will directly follow Wonder Woman 2 (Suicide Squad 2 is another DC movie that’s reportedly a priority for the studio), it sounds like we can expect both movies to be released sooner rather than later.
Flashpoint, originally known as The Flash, was one of the movies included in the initial DCEU slate announced in 2014, and while it was originally supposed to be released next month, it was taken off the schedule following numerous behind-the-scenes delays.
Batgirl was announced in March 2017, with Joss Whedon both writing and directing.
