However, it’s worth noting that The Nice Guys property is moving forward in a different incarnation, as Fox has given a series commitment to a female-led TV adaptation called The Nice Girls.
Jack and Holland got off to a rough start when The Nice Guys began, but as the movie progressed as they built an amusing dynamic with the another, and by the end they formed their own private eye agency, appropriately called “The Nice Guys.”
It’s a shame that we probably won’t see the duo busting heads together again, because The Nice Guys was one of 2016’s funnier movie offerings.
Unfortunately, not enough people went to see it in theaters (Captain America: Civil War can be partly blamed for that), so unless Warner Bros decides to provide a second chance, don’t get your hopes up for The Nice Guys 2.
