That paycheck is impressive for pretty much any job, but it’s even more impressive when we consider the fact that Spider-Man: Homecoming features less Tony Stark than many of the other Iron Man-centric Marvel Cinematic Universe movies like The Avengers or Captain America: Civil War.
In fact, with an estimated 15 minutes worth of screen time, this basically means that every minute of Tony Stark from Spider-Man: Homecoming was hundreds of thousands of dollars.
According to Variety’s report on Hollywood salaries, Robert Downey Jr. made $10 million for his work on Spider-Man: Homecoming, putting him in the salary range of other major Hollywood heavy hitters like Leonardo DiCaprio in the upcoming Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Kevin Hart in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
