After four seasons, the BBC’s Birmingham gangster series Peaky Blinders has won the top prize at the British Academy Television Awards.
Huge summer hit Love Island received Reality & Constructed Factual, while the International category went to The Handmaid’s Tale.
Peaky Blinders was only nominated once before, in 2015 when it lost to Happy Valley.
The biggest acting prizes of the night went to Sean Bean for Broken and Molly Windsor for Three Girls.
