ESPN Films and Netflix today announced they are teaming up to develop The Last Dance, a multi-part documentary series that focuses on arguably one of the most influential icons in sports history, Michael Jordan.
The Last Dance is directed by Jason Hehir (The Fab Five, The ’85 Bears, Andre the Giant), who is known for his work in the documentary world.
The documentary series will be anchored by more than 500 hours of never-before-seen footage from the team’s last championship run in the 1997-98 season.
