The series features Ramsay traveling across America in his 70-foot Hell On Wheels semi-truck and attempting to save various failing restaurants using renovations and tough love, all in the course of 24 hours.
The renewal of Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back came just prior to the premiere of the show’s third episode, in what is slated to be an eight-episode first season.
The show is very similar to Ramsay’s other projects like Kitchen Nightmares, with the key difference being the time limit in which the chef has to adequately turn things around.
