Despite being cut out of Infinity War, Happy is expected to appear next year in Avengers 4.
Before Avengers: Infinity War’s release, Favreau’s last Happy appearance was in Spider-Man: Homecoming, where he was supposed to be keeping an eye on Peter Parker, but didn’t care for that duty whatsoever.
Happy also oversaw the transfer of Avengers equipment from Avengers Tower in New York City to the new facility, and when Peter foiled The Vulture’s hijacking, Happy gained newfound respect for the teen superhero.
Jon Favreau was instrumental in launching the MCU by directing Iron Man and Iron Man 2, and even with his time behind the scenes on the franchise done, he’s still maintained a foothold in front of the camera by reprising Happy Hogan on several other occasions.
