Continuing the 50th anniversary celebration of Stanley Kubrick’s science fiction masterpiece 2001: A Space Odyssey, Warner Bros. Pictures is bringing the film to more than 350 IMAX theatres across North America for one week only, beginning on August 24th.
Award-winning director Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight, Dunkirk, Inception) was the one who oversee the whole restoration process of the 2001: A Space Odyssey “unrestored” 70 mm print.
Widely considered among the greatest films of the 20th century, 2001: A Space Odyssey was originally released on April 4, 1968, igniting the imaginations of both critics and audiences.
