Michael Giacchino to Score Marvel’s Doctor Strange

Composer Michael Giacchino has taken to Twitter to announce that he will be providing the score for Marvel’s upcoming Doctor Strange movie!

Doctor Strange stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme along with Chiwetel Ejiofor as The Ancient One and Benedict Wong as Doctor Strange’s humble servant, Wong, and, in undisclosed roles, Rachel McAdams (The Vow), Michael Stuhlbarg (Pawn Sacrifice), Scott Adkins (The Bourne Ultimatum), Amy Landecker (“Transparent”), and Mads Mikkelsen (“Hannibal”).

Giacchino won the Academy Award for Best Original Score with 2009’s Up, and was nominated for 2007’s Ratatouille.
