Directed by Robert Rodriguez, 100 Years has been billed as “the movie you will never see” and Malkovich is bringing the film to this year’s Cannes Film Festival – appropriately locked away in a safe.
You may have heard that John Malkovich is starring in a film that won’t be released until the year 2115.
General delegate of Cannes Film Festival Thierry Frémaux has deemed Rodriguez’s film “an innovative cinematographic project,” telling Entertainment Weekly: “I hope that our descendants will consider the movie 100 Years for the Palme d’Or at Cannes Film Festival in 2116”.
Rodriguez added: “I was intrigued by the concept of working on a film that nobody would ever see in my lifetime.”
