One of those names was Louis C.K., whose sexual misconduct had long been rumored in the comedy world.
According to the Cellar’s staff and owner, Noam Dworman, C.K. did a 15-minute set of his “typical Louis C.K. stuff,” which the Times cites as jokes about racism, waitresses’ tips, and parades.
Last November, five women told the Times of various uncomfortable encounters they had with the comedian, which included C.K. exposing himself and masturbating in front of them.
He closed that letter by writing, “I have spent my long and lucky career talking and saying anything I want.
