Originally the Cyborg movie was supposed to be released on April 3, 2020, but a lot has changed behind-the-scenes in the DCEU in the years since, and while currently the post-Wonder Woman 1984 film lineup hasn’t been disclosed to the public yet, it’s been indicated that movies like Birds of Prey, The Flash and The Batman stand a better chance of arriving sooner rather than later.
The end of Justice League saw Cyborg reconciling with his father, Dr. Silas Stone, adopting a look closer to the one he rocks in the comics and learning more about his technological abilities.
So it may be a while until we see Fisher’s version of Cyborg back in action, but the character will still pop up in other places, which includes The First Purge’s Jovian Wade playing him in DC Universe’ upcoming Doom Patrol series.
