Jason Bourne is the No. 1 film domestically, internationally and worldwide this weekend, including No. 1 openings in 27 territories.
Nine years after Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass last teamed for The Bourne Ultimatum, Universal Pictures‘ Jason Bourne dominated the worldwide box office this weekend with an estimated $110.1 million.
Jason Bourne opened in 46 international markets and grossed an estimated $50.1 million this weekend, making it the No. 1 film at the international box office and the biggest international opening weekend of all the “Bourne” films.
The previous film, Star Trek Into Darkness, earned $228.8 million domestically and $238.6 million overseas in 2013 for a worldwide total of $467.4 million.
