Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will be a standalone adventure not linked to other Marvel films

Speaking during a Facebook Q&A, the filmmaker was asked about the appearance of Infinity Stones in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Thankfully, director James Gunn has confirmed that the sequel, due out in 2017, will serve as a standalone Marvel adventure unrelated to any of the other films.
