Call Me by Your Name director Luca Guadagnino is working on a film inspired by Bob Dylan’s classic 1975 album Blood on the Tracks.
Blood on the Tracks was conceived in the midst of the dissolution of Dylan’s marriage to his then-wife Sara, following a decade-long relationship.
Guadagnino told the New Yorker that a producer who owned the “theatrical rights” to Dylan’s record had approached him about the project.
He reportedly agreed to take on the film on one condition: If LaGravanese penned the script.
