The previously announced live-action adaptation of iconic anime series Cowboy Bebop has found a home, and it’s exactly where you’d expect: Netflix.
A Cowboy Bebop movie also came out in 2001, and Keanu Reeves was attached to a live-action movie adaptation at one point, but it never came to fruition.
Cowboy Bebop is a co-production between Netflix and Tomorrow Studios, with original series director Shinichiro Watanabe serving as a consultant.
But now Netflix has picked it up, because anime series and live-action anime and manga adaptations are some of the many things Netflix does.
