Screenwriter Andrew Lanham (The Glass Castle, Just Mercy) is adapting The Strange Fascinations of Noah Hypnotik from author David Arnold for Paramount Players, Deadline has confirmed.
The Strange Fascinations of Noah Hypnotik centers on a 16-year-old boy, Noah Oakman (a Bowie believer, concise historian, disillusioned swimmer, son, brother, friend), who gets hypnotized and starts seeing changes in the world around him — except for his Strange Fascinations.
In February of this year, Paramount Players acquired rights to the novel which was originally published by Viking Books on May 22, 2018.
Subtle behaviors, bits of history, and plans for the future — everything in Noah’s world has been rewritten.
