The original Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse centered on a teenager named Miles Morales who becomes the Spider-Man of his reality, and crosses paths with five counterparts from other dimensions to stop a threat for all realities.
But as excellent as this follow-up is sure to be, let’s not forget about the other killer Spider-Man franchise we have out there Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman directed Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse from a screenplay written by Phil Lord and Rodney Rothman based on a story by Phil Lord based on Spider-Man by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko and Miles Morales created by Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli.
I don’t know about you, but this news of a true sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse excites me more than if we were getting word on a third MCU Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield.
