It’s been about eight months since the announcement that CBS All Access would make a new miniseries version of The Stand, Stephen King’s epic post-apocalyptic horror novel.
CBS All Access’ version will run for 10 episodes directed by The Fault in Our Stars’ Josh Boone.
According to Collider, the biggest addition to the cast to date is someone he didn’t mention: Alexander Skarsgard, who they report will play The Stand’s Big Bad, Randall Flagg, AKA The Man in Black.
Since then, the cast has begun to come together, with King himself announcing several new actors today during an appearance on The View.
