“Obviously, a big name highlights podcasts at a time when podcasts, especially fiction podcasts, are reaching saturation,” O’Donnell says.
“But then also making sure that they’re right for the part,” she adds, referring to the actors.
What podcasts lack – a pricey visual component – is the very thing that makes the medium such a rich opportunity for performers.
