Variety brings word that Epix has officially given a series order to a new series adaptation of Jerusalem’s Lot, based on acclaimed author Stephen King‘s short horror story of the same name with Academy Award-winning actor Adrien Brody (The Pianist) attached to lead the series as Captain Charles Boone.
In previous interviews, the legendary horror writer had revealed that Jerusalem’s Lot was actually inspired by his former hometown of Durham, Maine.
This series will be Brody’s latest TV project since appearing in six episodes of Peaky Blinders in 2017.
Production is expected to begin in May 2020 and the network is planning to release the series in the fall of 2020.
