According to Variety, AMC has picked up a two-season order for the animated sci-fi drama Pantheon, based on a series of short stories by Ken Liu about Uploaded Intelligence, aka, human consciousness uploaded to the cloud.
The one-hour series from creator Craig Silverstein will become the first animated show AMC has ever greenlit.
Liu will act as a consulting producer with AMC Studios producing.
The first season will contain eight-episode while focusing on the character of Maddie, a bullied teen who receives mysterious help from someone online.
