Saturday Night Live first premiered on October 11, 1975 and has gone on to produce some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Eddie Murphy, Bill Murray, Will Ferrell, Mike Myers and Adam Sandler, among others.
The show has received 71 Primetime Emmy Awards, four Writers Guild of America Awards, and two Peabody Awards.
