Last year, Netflix began testing a feature — supposedly much requested by customers — that would allow Android users to vary the playback speed of their content.
The final speeds offered are the same as the test: Down to half speed or up to 1.5 speed.
According to The Verge, Android app users can now access the feature, which is also available for downloaded titles saved for offline viewing.
Viewers could slow down a movie or show to 0.5x or 0.75x, or speed it up to 1.25x or 1.5x.
