This week in TV reboots, volume 2,587: The 1970s cop show S.W.A.T. is coming back to TV, courtesy of CBS.
And the new S.W.A.T. already has some big names attached behind the scenes: The Shield creator Shawn Ryan is an executive producer, along with Fast & Furious director Justin Lin, who may also direct the pilot.
Joining Ryan and Lin as executive producers are Neil H. Moritz (Preacher, Fox’s upcoming Prison Break revival) and Aaron Rahsaan Thomas (Sleepy Hollow), who will pen the pilot.
