Marvel‘s Captain America: Civil War added $13.3 million domestically and $18.8 million internationally on Monday for a global total of $32.1 million for the day.
That means the film has already earned $192.5 million in North America and $512.8 million overseas.
Captain America: Civil War features the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers / Captain America, this time joined by Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton / Hawkeye and Don Cheadle as Jim Rhodes/War Machine.
The Marvel release received an A CinemaScore from audiences and cost $250 million to make before marketing expenses.
