Mossimo Giannulli has been sentenced to five months in prison as part of the college admissions scandal case.
Both Giannulli and Loughlin pleaded guilty in the case. Loughlin’s proposed deal would have her serve two months in prison.
US District Judge Nathaniel Gorton said the prison sentence “is sufficient but not greater than necessary punishment under the circumstances”.
Under the agreement, Giannulli, a fashion designer, will also pay a $250,000 fine and perform 250 hours of community service.
