If nothing else, Superhero Fight Club 2.0 is a good way to remind everyone that The CW’s superhero series are coming back in full force, starting this week with the season 3 premiere of The Flash and the season 5 premiere of Arrow, then followed next week by Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow both returning for their second seasons.
Ostensibly a way for all of The CW’s superheroes to train together (but mostly just a way to have fun and promote the returning shows), Superhero Fight Club 2.0 pits Supergirl and her new friends against a variety of new challenges, chosen by Cisco and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards).
At the rate The CW is collecting famous faces from the pages of DC Comics, they’re probably going to need a much bigger room for Superhero Fight Club 3.0. The Flash season 3 will premiere Tuesday October 4th at 8pm on The CW, Arrow season 5 will premiere in the same timeslot on Wednesday October 5th, Supergirl season 2 on Monday October 10th, and Legends of Tomorrow season 2 on Thursday October 13th.
The CW has certainly been busy since Arrow debuted in 2012, gathering a multitude of heroes from all corners of the DC universe and even pulling in DC characters from other networks.
