The comedy is currently set at Disney’s 20th Television, where Lloyd and Chandrasekaran have had overall creative deals, though sources report that Lloyd’s deal with the studio has already expired.
The untitled series not only marks a reunion between its creators, but also with Lloyd and Grammer, who previously worked together on the star’s 37 Emmy-winning comedy Frasier and short-lived Fox comedy Back to You, while Baldwin has collaborated with Chandrasekaran on the 16 Emmy-winning 30 Rock, on which Grammer also made cameo appearances.
In addition to leading the comedy, Baldwin and Grammer will executive produce the project, which has received a straight-to-series order from the Disney-owned network, alongside Lloyd, Chandrasekaran, Jason Schrift, Tom Russo, Adam Griffin and Jeff Morton.
Alec Baldwin (30 Rock) and Kelsey Grammer (Wizards: Tales of Arcadia) are expanding their TV roster as the Emmy winners have singed on to led an untitled multicamera comedy at ABC from Modern Family co-creator Chris Lloyd, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
