Along with Keanu Reeves, the returning cast includes Bridget Moynahan as Helen Wick, John’s deceased wife, Ian McShane as the Continental Hotel owner Winston, John Leguizamo as car chop-shop mogul Aurelio, Lance Roddick as Continental Hotel concierge Charon; and Thomas Sadoski as John’s police officer friend Jimmy.
The new players include Common as one of the leads villains, Laurence Fishburne as The Bowler King, David Patrick Kelly as Charlie, as well as Ruby Rose, Riccardo Scamarcio and Peter Stormare in undisclosed roles.
As per usual, this means he’ll come into conflict with other talented killers.
Following the events of the first movie (where he gained a new dog companion), John Wick: Chapter Two will see the eponymous protagonist being pulled out of retirement yet again and traveling to Rome to help an old friend take control of a “shadowy international assassins’ guild.”
