The ratings for the CW debut of Supergirl beat the latest episode of The Flash with a 1.1 rating and 3.3 million viewers, although it should be noted that The Flash premiere beat the Supergirl premiere.
Of course, even the low numbers for The Flash’s second Season 3 episode were far higher than the numbers won by Arrow in its Season 5 premiere.
If Legends of Tomorrow debuts to lower ratings on Thursday, we may be able to call the slump a trend for the returning CW superhero series rather than a problem unique to The Flash.
Arrow only attracted 1.9 million viewers and drew a 0.7 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic.
