Warner Bros. had already halted production on Matt Reeves’ upcoming movie back in March 2020 when most of the world had to stop after the COVID-19 outbreak.
The long-gestating production was mainly to the COVID-19 situation, which had a profound impact upon the movie’s set.
The delay forced Warner Bros. to move down the film’s debut from June to Oct. 2021, given that Reeves had shot only 25% of the movie at that time.
Although the producers kept the name of that person quiet, several reports indicated The Batman star Robert Pattinson was the infected individual.
