Hulu is preparing to raise the price of both versions of the popular streaming service beginning next month, according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter.
The Hollywood Reporter also notes that the live TV plans and any bundled plans — including the Disney streaming bundle that includes Disney+ — will not see any price changes at the moment.
The move likely comes as a result of Hulu getting a sudden huge influx of content thanks to its partnership with Disney+.
The report mentions that both new and existing users of Hulu will see the price increase, with ad-supported versions of Hulu going up from $5.99 to $6.99 a month, while the ad-free version of Hulu will go up from $11.99 to $12.99 a month.
