Showrunner, director, and executive producer Robert Rodriguez recently shared new details about The Book of Boba Fett, promising that “every episode has big surprises” (via The Hollywood Reporter). Lucasfilm’s limited series spin-off of The Mandalorian, debuting December 29 exclusively on Disney+, stars Temuera Morrison reprising his role as the titular character.
The Book of Boba Fett is produced by John Bartnicki and executive produced by Favreau, Filoni, Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson.
Rodriguez also revealed that the teaser trailers for The Book of Boba Fett have only revealed footage from the seven-episode season’s opening minutes: “We can’t use the second half of the first episode because it gives so much away,” he explains.
The spin-off is directed by Rodriguez, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Steph Green, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Kevin Tancharoen.
