Disney+ has announced the production on the upcoming third season of the hit teen comedy-drama High School Musical: The Musical: The Series has officially started in Los Angeles.
High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is a mockumentary musical teen drama that follows a group of students at East High who stage a performance of High School Musical for their winter theater production, only to realize that as much drama is also happening offstage.
The streamer has also announced High School Musical Season 3’s guest-star lineup which consists of Disney vets Meg Donnelly (Disney’s Zombies franchise) as a Camp Counselor-in-training named Val, Jason Earles (Hannah Montana) as Camp director Dewey Wood, and High School Musical franchise star Corbin Bleu as himself.
High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is executive produced by Tim Federle (Ferdinand) and Oliver Goldstick (Pretty Little Liars) along with the original film’s EPs Bill Borden and Barry Rosenbush.
