The comedy world is once again in mourning as legendary comedian Louie Anderson has passed away at the age of 68. The actor’s death has been confirmed by his publicist.
The comedian also had his own CBS sitcom called The Louie Show in 1996, which was canceled after six episodes.
This critically acclaimed role led to Anderson winning a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
He passed away on Friday after a battle with cancer.
