Filmmaker James Cameron, forever an advocate for the 3D format, wants to push things one step further with his Avatar sequels (all four of them).
The use of cinematic 3D has advanced quite far since its impressive deployment in Cameron’s Avatar which was released in 2009.
He’s hoping that you’ll be able to watch them – well, some of them at least – in 3D without having to don a pair of glasses.
I’m still very bullish on 3D, but we need brighter projection, and ultimately I think it can happen – with no glasses.
