Sam Raimi is getting ready for the premiere of his next film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but due to the massive success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Raimi’s past Spider-Man franchise is a big topic of conversation.
In a recent interview with Moviepilot, Raimi was asked about what a potential fourth entry in the Spider-Man franchise would have looked like.
I thought I had compromised a bit on Spider-Man 3 and I wanted to really pay the audience back on Spider-Man 4 and make the best Spider-Man of all.
According to Raimi, they did have a script ready for the film, but due to a combination of Raimi feeling that he compromised on things for Spider-Man 3 and the script not being ready, it just never came to be.
