Brendan Dassey, one of the subjects of Netflix’s controversial documentary series Making a Murderer, may finally be getting his release.
Dassey’s conviction was overturned in August of this year and the state of Wisconsin had 90 days to release him.
Dassey, now 27, has been in prison since 2007 for the murder of photographer Teresa Halbach.
He and his uncle Steven Avery were the center of the Netflix series about the trial.
