New The Acolyte Trailer Celebrates Star Wars Day

To celebrate Star Wars Day, Disney released a new The Acolyte trailer ahead of the show’s two episode DIsney+ debut on June 4.

Star Wars: The Acolyte is written and executive produced by Leslye Headland (Russian Doll), who also serves as the showrunner.

Joining Amandla Stenberg Stenberg are Lee Jung-jae (Squid Game), Dafne Keen (His Dark Materials), Rebecca Henderson (Inventing Anna), Dean-Charles Chapman (1917), Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix), Manny Jacinto (The Good Place), Jodie Turner-Smith (After Yang), Charlie Barnett (Russian Doll), and Star Wars sequel trilogy alum Joonas Suotama as a new character in the form of a Wookiee Jedi master.
