Netflix is killing Ellis Dragon’s political aspirations, cancelling Unstable after two seasons, TVLine has confirmed. The show’s eight-episode second season dropped on Aug. 1, ending with Lowe’s character going full Donald Trump — first by opening a half-baked “school,” then by announcing his candidacy for president.
“I also just genuinely believe that this is something Ellis would do, and it makes us laugh so hard.
Fred Armisen also heavily recurred as Leslie, who became Ellis’ live-in therapist after he kinda-sorta kidnapped him.
