Gray’s saga has come to an unfortunate end: AMC has cancelled its Giancarlo Esposito-led crime drama Parish after just one season, TVLine has learned exclusively.
Parish follows a driver (Esposito) who takes a job for a shady criminal syndicate, leading him to lots of gunfire and dead bodies.
“We’re so proud of Parish, and thankful for the creative talent involved and the performances they were able to bring to the screen, starting with the remarkable Giancarlo Esposito, Skeet Ulrich and the entire cast,” the cabler said in a statement.
Along with Esposito, the cast includes Skeet Ulrich (Riverdale), Zackary Momoh (The Nevers), Paula Malcomson (Ray Donovan), Bonnie Mbuli (Invictus), Ivan Mbakop (Hawkeye), Arica Himmel (mixed-ish) and Dax Rey (The Good Fight).
