Lanterns Cast Adds DCU’s Live-Action Sinestro

HBO’s upcoming Lanterns series has officially found its Sinestro, with Deadline reporting that Ulrich Thomsen has been tapped to play the villainous character.

The Lanterns cast will star Aaron Pierre as John Stewart alongside Kyle Chandler, who has been cast in the series as Hal Jordan in the upcoming series.

Originally introduced in 1961, Sinestro is a former Green Lantern who was dishonorably discharged after abusing his power and ends up founding his own villainous group known as the Sinestro Corps.
