The causes of death for Gene Hackman, who was 95, and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, who was 65, were revealed at a press conference at Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday (8 March).

In the days that followed the news that Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa had died, mystery swirled as authorities ruled out foul play, and immediate tests for carbon monoxide poisoning were negative.
