HBO was the biggest winner of the night at Sunday’s Critics’ Choice Awards, with Silicon Valley and Game of Thrones winning best comedy and drama series, respectively.
The night before Damien Chazelle’s musical picked up seven Golden Globe nominations – more than any other movie or series – it won the best picture prize at the Critics’ Choice Awards.
Evan Rachel Wood and Thandie Newton also took home acting awards for their work in the freshman drama Westworld.
Lead acting awards in comedy went to Saturday Night Live’s Kate McKinnon and Atlanta’s Donald Glover.
